Interview with a First-Year Student
The following excerpt from the Finder's November 1987 issue details a first-year's experience with Founders College. He describes his time on Frosh week where he gives his thoughts and concerns on orientation. He points out several critiques, including handbooks with tons of information but no time to explain its contents. He describes how this led him to an incident where he received some help to solving his issues with a short story contest. The confession shows how Founders College can help students back in 1987 but also reveals some of the limitations present to providing this information to new students.
